INMO confirm that 66 people are waiting on hospital beds in north west



The number of people waiting on hospital beds this morning at the  two main hospitals in the north west has risen to 66.

 

There are 36 people waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital and 30 at Sligo University Hospital.

 

When it comes to the numbers waiting in the respective emergency departments there are 24 waiting in Letterkenny and 19 in Sligo.

 

The national number of patients waiting for beds stands at 463 today.

 

University Hospital Limerick has the highest figure with 62 people waiting while Galway University is reporting 47 people waiting to be allocated a hospital bed.
