A Sligo Councillor says a new bus service running from Castlerea to Sligo via Bunninadden will provide an invaluable service for local residents.
The new route from Castlerea to Sligo was one of a number of new routes in the region announced by National Transport Authority.
Another new service will run between Dromahair and Sligo.
The new routes ae expected to commence by the middle of September 2022.
Ballymote Tubbercurry Councillor Paul Taylor says a bus service in Bunninadden will be beneficial for many including those studying the new Atlantic Technology University or those attending Hospital appointments at Sligo University Hospital.
