44 People waiting on Hospital beds in north west



There are 44 people waiting on Hospital beds in the north west’s two main hospitals today.

 

The figures represents a slight increase on yesterday’s figure.

 

There are 23 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital with 11 at Letterkenny University Hospital.

 

The INMO trolley watch figures report 13 waiting in the emergency department in Sligo and 5 in Letterkenny

 

Another Hospital in the Saolta group,  Galway University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country with 54 people waiting on a bed.

 

In total there are 368 people waiting on a bed on hospitals across the country today
