Funding boost for ATU and St Angela’s



The Atlantic Technological University and St Angela’s College are both set to benefit from national funding.

 

40 Million Euro is being invested in Universities and Colleges across the country.

 

The money is being made available to encourage sustainability within campuses and allow accessibility for people with disabilities.

 

4 million of the funding has been earmarked for the Atlantic Technological University which includes the large Sligo campus (formerly IT Sligo)

 

200,000 euro is being allocated to St. Angela’s College in Sligo while

 

The Minister for Education Simon Harris announced the funding this morning.
