Emergency services are currently at the scene of a car fire on the N4 in Sligo.
The incident was first reported at around 8.30am this morning.
Three units of the Sligo fire service responded to the scene which is on the Sligo side of the slipway leading to the Caltrah roundabout.
It’s understood that a single vehicle caught fire and pulled into the hard shoulder.
There are no reports of any injuries.
There is a traffic management plan in place and while the road remains open, motorists are being asked to exercise caution along the route.
