The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council says Enniscrone and the county is in shock after the death of a 4 year old girl in Sligo yesterday.
the death occurred at a popular caravan park in Enniscrone.
Gardai and emergency services attended the scene – after the girl was hit by a vehicle yesterday afternoon.
She was later pronounced dead at Sligo University Hospital.
Sligo county council Cathaoirleach Cllr Michael Clarke says it’s a tragic situation for the family.
