It’s been claimed that the speed some motorists are travelling on a road between Donegal and Leitrim is making it unsafe for residents in the area.
A section of the R280 which links Bundoran to the likes of Manorhamilton, Drumkeeran and Leitrim village is said to be treacherous for local people trying to access the route.
It’s understood that the issue centres near the Amorset roundabout and traffic coming along the Creamery Road.
Manorhamilton Cllr Felim Gurn has suggested installing speed ramps in the area and says previous safety measures have not worked.
