Pressure increases to reinstate pension services in Coolaney.



There’s further pressure on An Post to reinstate services in Coolaney.

 

The facility had been serving people their pensions in the area however in recent weeks the payment service was pulled with the community now having to either travel to Collooney or Sligo town to avail of the service.

 

Local Fine Gael Cllr Dara Mulvey says it had been the focal point of the village and it’s vital that such a service be kept in a rural area.

 

Cllr Mulvey believes that An Post management must reverse the decision:
