A Belleek, Co Fermanagh-based member of the Northern Ireland Assembly says the current uncertainty that surround the future of the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is taking away the focus of forming a new executive in the North.
Gemma Dolan, who represents Fermanagh and South Tyrone, says the drama in the UK is also unhelpful in trying to resolve issues around the Northern Ireland Protocol.
The Sinn Fein MLA has also reiterated calls of the damage that not having a working executive in the north is doing to a number of local cross border projects:
