Lack of broadband continues to hamper towns and villages in the northwest

A Sligo Councillor is warning that delays in the rollout of the National Broadband plan is continuing to hamper the development of many towns and villages in the north west.

Sligo Drumcliff Councillor Thomas Healy says the creation of digital hubs without high speed broadband is a waste of time .
