IFA meet with UK counterparts to discuss drystock issue



Members of the Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) executive have met with counterparts from other farming unions across the UK to discuss issues affecting drystock farmers.

The meeting in London was an opportunity to discuss a range of issues impacting on drystock farmers here in Ireland and across the UK.

The main focus of the discussion centred on the current market situation and the savage increase in farm inputs, which is currently the biggest and most immediate threat to the sector.
