42 people waiting for a bed at two main North West hospitals



There were 42 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning.

 

27 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 15 were waiting at Letterkenny.

 

Nationally, 608 patients are without a bed in Irish hospitals today according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

 

This is the highest daily figure for the month of June since the INMO began counting trolleys in 2006.
