Met Eireann have issued a Status Yellow Weather Warning for Munster and Connacht.
The warning marks the end of the current warm spell of weather.
The warning comes into effect from midday tomorrow, with the forecaster predicting heavy showers or longer spells of rain and thundery downpours leading to some spot flooding.
The alert is due to end on Saturday afternoon.
