Further warnings have been issued that Ireland’s international reputation could be harmed by higher hotel and car-rental prices.

 

Both have spiralled this summer as travel returns to pre-pandemic levels.

 

Catherine Martin is also concerned about the impact of delays at Dublin Airport, with people still encouraged to arrive up to three and a half hours before a flight.

 

The Tourism Minister says says these factors could put international tourists off coming here.

 

 

 

Glenfarne based Guest House owner Jim Clancy says many tourists are now renting cars in Northern Ireland.
