Sligo Rovers Pixie O’Hara called into Ireland under 19 squad



Sligo Rovers player Pixie O’Hara has been called into the Republic of Ireland under-19 squad by manager Dave Connell for a training camp which will culminate in a friendly against England at the end of June.

O’Hara, who is a student at St. Attracta’s Community School in Tubbercurry has been included in a 23-player squad which will partake in a four-day training camp at St. George’s Park in Burton upon Trent before facing England in a friendly at Holmes Park in Leicester on June 30th.

Earlier this year, O’Hara was part of the St. Attracta’s Community School junior soccer team that won the school’s first provincial title. 

O’Hara has enjoyed a fine debut season in the Women’s National League for Sligo Rovers senior women’s team.

The Women’s National League is currently at the mid-season break with Sligo Rovers next game away to Bohemians on Saturday, July 2nd.
