Callum Devine leads Donegal International Rally after Day 1

Derry’s Callum Devine leads the Donegal International Rally at the end of Day 1.

After Friday’s six stages, the Clady driver has a lead of 5.8 seconds over British Rally champion Matt Edwards.

Fermanagh’s Alastair Fisher lies third, followed by Josh Moffett, Meirion Evans and defending champion Sam Moffett.

The opening three stages posed challenges for the drivers with the changeable weather making decisions on the choice of tyres tricky – with several drivers losing early ground on the leaders.
