There’s been a heated exchange in the Dail yet again between Tánaiste Leo Varadkar and Donegal Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty.
Deputy Pearse Doherty raised the revelations from the ESRI today that found 29 per cent are struggling because of high energy costs, with 1 in 10 currently in fuel poverty.
The report also found that up to 40% of households could be facing fuel poverty this winter.
