Sligo AC’s Lauren Cadden has been selected as part of the Ireland team for an upcoming athletics competition in Athens.
The ATU Sligo student will take part in two events. As part of a team in the the 4×100 metre Women’s relay and individually in the 200 metres.
Cadden has enjoyed strong success so far in 2022, winning Irish Intervarsities gold in January as well bronze at the Senior Athletics Championships in February. Both in the 200 metres event.
Recently, Cadden won the gold medal at the Connaught Senior Women’s 200 metres in Athlone.
