Donegal TD urges Keir Starmer to use his visit to address Protocol concerns



A Donegal TD has urged the Leader of the UK’s Labour Party to immediately address the concerns that exist over Boris Johnson’s plans to scrap parts of the protocol:

 

 

Keir Starmer is  in the North today to discuss ways to resolve concerns over the Northern Ireland Protocol.

 

He’s due to meet party leaders at Stormont.

 

The leader of the main opposition party in the UK has criticised the British Prime Minister’s approach to the Protocol during his meeting with the Taoiseach in Dublin yesterday.

 

Sinn Fein Chief Whip Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlain hopes his visit will address fears over Boris Johnson’s plans to scrap parts of the protocol:
