There are less than 10 GPs in Counties Sligo and Leitrim offering abortion services, four years after the Eighth Amendment Referendum. The National Women’s Council say the legislation still has a ‘chilling effect’ on doctors and healthcare providers and the Government needs to ensure accessible abortion services for all who need them
