The ‘Little Free Library’ in Killybegs is out of action this week after it was vandalised over the weekend.
The library beside St. Johns Church in the village is believed to have been vandalised on Saturday night.
It’s not yet known who is responsible however volunteers have expressed their disappointment over what has happened on social media.
In a statement on Facebook, the group described it as a reckless act and that it was strange that the same thing happened exactly three years ago to the day.
The group also say that it will endeavour to have the facility back up and running as soon as possible.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
