Sligo minor gaelic footballers are through to another Connacht semi-final following Friday evening’s hard-fought but deserved 1-16 to 0-15 against Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park.
The win sets up a provincial semi-final against Galway next Friday (May 27th).
Robert O’Kelly-Lynch’s well-taken first half goal proved to be the crucial score in the end.
In the evening’s other game, Leitrim beat an understrength Galway team in Carrick-on-Shannon by 3-8 to 0-12.

Mayo qualify directly for the Connacht final on June the 3rd as winners of the group stage.
They await the winners of next Friday’s semi-final between Galway and Sligo.
