There were 37 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning.
33 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 4 were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital.
University Hospital Limerick continues to be the most overcrowded with 81 people waiting there.
Nationally there were 393 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
