Donegal minors reach Ulster semi-final

Donegal minor gaelic footballers are through to an Ulster semi-final following Saturday’s 4-12 to 3-7 victory against Monaghan in Clones in their round three qualifier.

The final scoreline looks comprehensive but Monaghan, who were 16 points down at one stage in the game, produced a strong revival to cut the gap to just three points.

However, Luke Barrett’s side eventually responded and pulled clear to win by eight points in the end.
