Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon enjoyed a 1-11 to 2-5 win over Gweedore in Magheragallon in Saturday evening’s Brian McCormick Sports & Leisure SFL Division 1 encounter.
The result lifts Aodh Ruadh up to second in the table behind leaders and holders Naomh Conaill, who were convincing 3-13 to 1-9 winners over Realt na Mara Bundoran at Davy Brennan Memorial Park.
MacCumhaill’s were the weekend’s high scorers, hitting 7-22 past Red Hugh’s in their Marley Travel Division 2 game in Ballybofey.
Glen scored a 1-24 to 0-12 victory in Dungloe.
