Overcrowding situation at Sligo Hospital not acceptable says Minister Donnelly



The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, says he fully accepts that the numbers of patients being treated on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital is unacceptably high – he says part of the problem is older and sicker patients presenting at the Emergency Department. Minister Donnelly has also been speaking about the National Maternity Hospital, the row over the secondment of Dr Tony Holohan, and his wish to remain on as Minister for Health
