Local TD says ‘an emergency situation’ now exists at Sligo University Hospital



A Sligo Leitrim TD has described the situation at Sligo University Hospital as an emergency and is calling for urgent Government intervention.

 

Yesterday, there were 50 people waiting for a bed at the facility and comes as the second day of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisations Annual Delegate Conference gets underway at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Rosses Point.
