Naomh Conaill won the Donegal Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta senior title on Monday with a 1-6 to 0-2 win over Ardara in Monday’s final.
The Donegal finals of Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachtamwere hosted for the first time by Fanad Gaels.
In Monday’s senior final, Naomh Conaill led by 1-4 to 0-3 at the interval thanks to Ciaran Brennan’s first-half goalm, and they managed to preserve a three-point lead through to the finish.
Leo McLoone (pictured) was named Player of the Match.
Elsewhere, there was disappointment for Naomh Columba in the women’s intermediate football final as they lost out to Downings by 4-13 to 1-7.
