Manorhamilton will host a handball tournament for the first time in a number of years on Bank Holiday May, 2nd May.
The tournament will take place at the recently refurbished handball alley at Bee Park, which was originally built in the 1930s.
Outlining the format for this year’s event, one of the tournament’s chief organisers Joel Smith is hopeful it will become an annual event on the Manorhamilton sporting calendar: “the event will begin at 1pm with a display of handball from juvenile handballers followed at 2pm by a tournament featuring handballers from Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.”
