Fishing industry representatives to meet European Parliament members over Killybegs debacle



A meeting has been arranged between fishing industry representatives and members of the European Parliament over ongoing issues at Killybegs.

 

Representatives of the industry are to travel to Brussels in a bid to seek clarity on controversial weighing systems in Killybegs, post-Brexit burden sharing and the upcoming review of the Common Fisheries Policy.

 

Midlands-North-West MEP Colm Markey is facilitating the event which is getting underway today and tomorrow.
