Dail heats up over turf ban proposals



A Donegal Deputy is warning that the proposed turf ban is the straw that will break the camel’s back.

 

The comments were made during a motion for the removal of the Carbon Tax.

 

TDs have been heavily debating the motion in the Dail today and if passed, could result in households saving thousands of euro between now and 2030.

 

Speaking in the Dail, Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn says the rise in the Carbon tax and now the proposed turf ban is happening at the worst possible time.
