46 awaiting hospital bed and 40 Covid-19 patients in North West



Sligo University Hospital is the fourth most impacted today when it comes to hospital overcrowding.

30 patients are waiting for beds, down from 37 yesterday, while there are 9 waiting in Letterkenny University Hospital.

126 people are on trolleys in University Hospital Limerick which is a new record for overcrowding.

Overall throughout the country today, there are 442 patients waiting for beds.

When it comes to Covid-19 patients receiving treatment in the region, 24 patients are in Letterkenny and 16 in Sligo.

654 patients are in an Irish hospital with the virus today, 37 of whom are in an ICU.
