Sligo’s opening Connacht LGFA Intermediate Football Championship with Clare, which was scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed.
Anthony Brennan’s side were due to face The Banner in Curry.
Clare, who were recently admitted to participate in the Connacht Intermediate Championship alongside Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon as they are the only intermediate county in Munster.
Connacht champions Leitrim begin their provincial campaign away to Roscommon on Friday at St. Croan’s GAA Grounds, Enfield at 6pm.
The next scheduled game for Sligo is an April 24th tie away to Roscommon at Dr. Hyde Park at 1pm.
