94 Covid-19 patients and 60 waiting for hospital bed in the North West



94 Covid-19 patients are being treated in the north west’s two main hospitals today.

48 people are in Letterkenny University Hospital and 46 in Sligo University Hospital; there is also one patient in the ICU in both hospitals.

1,182 people are in an Irish hospital with the virus today, 58 of whom are in an ICU.

When it comes to hospital overcrowding, 40 people are awaiting a bed in Sligo University Hospital and 20 in Letterkenny University Hospital.

447 patients are waiting around the country today with University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with a figure of 91.
