Funeral arrangements of Sligo GAA Player Red Óg Murphy confirmed



Funeral arrangements have been announced for the well-known 21-year Gaelic footballer Red Og Murphy from Curry in County Sligo, who died suddenly last weekend in Dublin.

A trainee teacher, he had been a student at Dublin City University.

He is survived by his parents, Geraldine and Redmond and two brothers, Oisin and Daithi.

His remains will repose at his home in Moylough, Curry on Thursday from 12pm to 8pm, with removal on Friday to St Patrick’s Church, Moylough, for funeral Mass at 1pm.

He will be buried in Bunnacrannagh Cemetery, Curry.
