115 Covid-19 patients being treated in the North West



115 Covid-19 patients are being treated in the north west’s two main hospitals today; down 15 on yesterday’s figure.

68 people are in Letterkenny University Hospital, down 16, and 47 in Sligo University Hospital, up one; there is also one patient in the ICU in both hospitals.

1,466 people are in an Irish hospital with the virus today, 55 of whom are in an ICU.

When it comes to hospital overcrowding, 34 people are awaiting a bed in Letterkenny, down nine, and 13 in Sligo, down four, out of a national total of 475 down from 546 yesterday.
