Ballyshannon’s Cora Rooney helps Ulster to schools interpro swim success

Colaiste Colmcille Ballyshannon student Cora Rooney helped Ulster two win the Irish Schools Interprovincial swimming title on Sunday.

Rooney, who has already represented Ireland at junior international level, finished a close second in the girls 100 metres backstroke at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin on Sunday.

The Ballyshannon teenager was also part of the Ulster 4x50m freestyle and medley relay teams who set new Ulster records in both disciplines.
