The well-known Donegal Mica campaigner Paddy Diver has announced that is stepping down from his role with the Donegal Mica campaign.
The Cardonagh native who’s own home is affected by Mica was a leading figure in the scheme to secure redress for homeowners across the County.
Paddy Diver confirmed the news on social media last night and claimed that he has received abusive text messages, adding that family and health comes first.
Various tributes have been paid to Paddy Diver’s work with the Mica campaign including Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council Jack Murray.
