Revenue officers have seized cigarettes and tobacco worth over €16,100 in Sligo and Mayo.
10,400 cigarettes were seized following a search, under warrant, of a property in the Enniscrone area of County Sligo.
The unstamped cigarettes have an estimated retail value of more than €7,400,
An Irish woman was questioned in relation to this seizure.
Separately Revenue officers seized unstamped cigarettes and ‘roll your own’ tobacco, with an estimated retail value of more than €8,700, in the Ballina area of County Mayo.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
