‘Steady roll-back’ of public services says Donegal TD

A Donegal TD says there is a ‘steady roll-back’ of public services by successive governments.

Independent Deputy, Thomas Pringle, raised his issues in the Dail recently where he called for the driving license renewal walk-in service to be reinstated.

He accused the government of using the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse to continue reducing face to face services which are impacting people the most in rural areas such as Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.

Deputy Pringle believes the actions of the government amount to ‘unfettered capitalism’ with it’s roots going back to mid 1980’s.
