A yellow wind warning for the counties of Sligo Leitrim and Donegal is currently active,
Strong to near gale force winds will hit the area throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
Heavy rain is expected to lead to hazardous driving conditions in parts with localised flooding likely.
The warning will run until 3PM this afternoon.
Paul Downes from Met Eireann says the spell of low pressure won’t be prolonged.
