Sligo’s Connacht Minor Football Championship winners of 2021 are to be honoured at a medal presentation dinner in Sligo’s Clayton Hotel this Saturday, March 5th.
This an opportunity for Sligo supporters to celebrate the victory for the first time as public health restrictions had prevented such events.
At the ceremony, each of the players will be presented with their championship medal.
Bunninadden forward Luke Marren will receive a presentation following his selection on the Electric Ireland Minor Team of the Year. To mark that achievement, Sligo’s previour All Stars- Mickey Kearins, Barnes Murphy, Eamonn O’Hara and Charlie Harrison will attend.
Other special guests on the evening will be Tubbercurry’s Colm Mullarkey, who managed the last Sligo team to win a Connacht Minor final and the family of Aidan Richardson, RIP, who captained that team.
