A Status Orange warning for high winds has been issued for Co. Donegal.
The alert beings at 4pm this afternoon and remains until 7pm this evening.
The forecaster are predicting strong to gale force winds with gusts of up to 130km/hr.
A separate Yellow Warning for wind remains for the region until 8pm this evening.
