The town of Ballymote in Sligo will stage their St Patrick’s Day this year for the first time since 2019.
The Popular parade failed to take place over the two years due to COVID19.
The Organising committee have confirmed that the parade will get underway at its traditional time of 3.30pm on March 17th.
PRO of the Ballymote St Patrick’s Day committee in Ballymote Keith Henry says the decision to stage he parade is a major boost for the South Sligo area.
