Meetings will take place next week between SIPTU and B Braun Hospicare Ltd concerning the threatened plant closure in Collooney.
SIPTU representatives will meet with the management of the company a week from today (February 10th) to discuss their decision to close the manufacturing facility.
The company announced last week that they intend to wind down operations in Collooney over the next 18 months.
SIPTU Organiser, Ashling Dunne, says the meeting will look at exploring all possible avenues and opportunities available to keep the plant open and to save the 80 jobs.
