Letterkenny University Hospital is again the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
There are 51 patients waiting for beds, made up of 15 in the emergency department and 36 in wards and elsewhere.
The most overcrowded hospital is University Hospital Limerick, which has 54 people waiting for beds.
In Sligo University Hospital, there are 38 people waiting, 28 of whom are in the emergency department.
