A SIPTU Union official representing workers at the B Braun Hospice facility in Collooney has described the feeling of shock that has gripped the workers of the facility after it was announced that
80 jobs will be lost with the closure of the outlet
Management of the company yesterday announced that it plans to close the site over the next 18 months.
Of the 89 staff in Collooney 80 are to be made redundant with consultations in relation to this due to start in the coming weeks.

She says every effort will be made to save the jobs. Speaking to OceanFM News she says the workers in Collooney had no idea that their jobs were in danger.
