Sligo senior men’s rugby team are through to the semi-finals the Connacht senior cup following’s Saturday’s 28-0 win against Galwegians at Crowley Park.
The game doubled up as an AIL Division 2B fixture, with Sligo scoring four tries to secure the bonus-point league victory.
Tries from Philip Carter, Ryan Feehily, skipper Brendan Cunningham and Calum Goddard secure the five league points for Sligo.
The win lifts Sligo up to third in the Division 2B table.
As for the senior cup, Sligo will now face Buccaneers in the semi-final on Saturday, February.
The winners will face Ballina in the Connacht Senior Cup decider in March.
