Sligo pub and restaurant owners call for scrapping of 8pm closing time



Pub and restaurant owners in Sligo say they are at a particular disadvantage when it comes to covid restrictions due to its proximity to the border.

They’re calling for the 8pm closing time to be scrapped as different rules apply in Northern Ireland for the hospitality sector.

Anthony Gray owns a number of restaurants in Sligo town and says the restrictions are having a huge impact.
