Parking restrictions as big machinery passes through Ballisodare



Roadside parking in part of the County Sligo village of Ballisodare will be restricted on Tuesday of next week to allow a trial haul of large equipment being taken to a wind farm in Mayo.

The equipment is coming from Killybegs, through Ballisodare, onto Ballina and Crossmolina on its way to the Oweninny Wind Farm in Bellacorrick.

Parking on the N59 main street of Ballisodare will be restricted on Tuesday, January 11th, with the vehicles expected to be passing through around 1am. and Ballina at 2am.

The main haul of equipment is expected to take place later in the year, between March and September, on Sunday and Saturday mornings.
